Change the Order of Photos and Videos in the Gallery

You can control the default order uploaded photos and videos appear in your event's gallery, either by arranging them manually or by sorting automatically.

Photo Sort Order Setting

In your event's General Settings, the Photo Sort Order option lets you choose how files are ordered for both you and your guests:

• Custom order (drag to arrange) — you arrange files manually by drag and drop. This is the default.
• Newest first — files are ordered with the most recently published at the top.
• Oldest first — files are ordered with the oldest published first.

Switching between modes is non-destructive: if you move to Newest or Oldest and later switch back to Custom, your manual arrangement is restored exactly as you left it. This setting is available on all plans.

How to Reorder Manually

Manual drag-and-drop reordering applies when Photo Sort Order is set to Custom order.

1. Go to your Media Gallery in the event dashboard
2. Drag and drop files to rearrange them in your preferred order
3. The new order is saved automatically and reflected on the guest-facing event page

How Ordering Works

• Pinned files always stay at the top, above all other files, in every sort mode
• Non-pinned files follow the chosen sort order below the pinned section
• The order you set in the dashboard is what guests see on the event page

Reordering Albums

You can also reorder albums from the Albums & Hashtags page. Drag and drop albums to change the order they appear in on the event page.
