How Do I Set Up a Password for My Event?
ou can password protect your event so only guests with the password can access the page.
How to Enable It
- Go to your event dashboard and open Access Control
- Find the Password Protection setting and turn it on
- Enter a password
- Save
When guests scan the QR code or open the link, they'll be prompted to enter the password before they can view or upload anything.
Tips for Choosing a Password
- Keep it simple — guests will type it on their phones (e.g., "sarah2026" or "wedding")
- Share the password alongside the QR code or link (on table cards, in a message, etc.)
- Avoid special characters that are hard to type on mobile
When to Use It
- Private events where you don't want the link to be openly accessible
- Events with a custom URL that's easy to guess
- Any situation where you want an extra layer of access control
