What Happens to My Event After the Storage Window?

When your plan's storage window expires:

  • Event page goes offline — guests can no longer view or upload
  • Files are scheduled for permanent deletion — this cannot be undone
  • Your dashboard remains accessible — you can still log in, but you won't be able to view or download files

Can I Reactivate My Event?

Contact us at contact@chivent.com before your files are deleted. We may be able to extend your storage on a case-by-case basis. Once files are permanently deleted, they cannot be recovered.

How to Avoid This

  • Download all your files before expiry using Download ZIP in your Media Gallery
  • Check your expiry date in the event dashboard
  • Upgrade to a longer duration if you need more time
