I Can't Upload — What's Wrong?

Here are the most common reasons and fixes.

The Event May Be Full

The host's plan has a file limit. If it's been reached, no more uploads are accepted. Ask the host to check their dashboard.

Uploads May Be Disabled

The host controls whether guests can upload. If you don't see an upload button, the host has turned off uploads for this event.

Your Connection May Be Weak

Uploads need a stable internet connection. Try:

  • Switching to Wi-Fi
  • Moving closer to the router
  • Waiting a moment and trying again

The Event May Have Expired

If the host's plan storage window has ended, the event is no longer active and uploads won't work.

The File May Not Be Supported

Chivent accepts standard photo formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP, ...) and video formats (MP4, MOV, ...). Other file types won't upload.

Still Stuck?

Ask the host to check the event settings, or contact us at contact@chivent.com for help.
