I've Already Had My Event. Can I Still Use Chivent to Collect Photos?

Yes. You can create a Chivent event at any time — before, during, or after your event.

How It Works

  1. Create an event and share the QR code or link with your guests
  2. Guests upload the photos and videos they took at the event from their phone's camera roll
  3. Everything lands in one shared album for you to browse and download

There's no requirement to set up Chivent before your event happens. Guests simply select existing photos from their gallery instead of taking new ones.

Tips for Collecting After the Event

  • Share the link via group chat — WhatsApp, iMessage, or any messaging app your guests already use
  • Keep it simple — a short message like "Upload your photos from Saturday here!" with the link works great
  • Send a reminder — people forget, so a follow-up message a few days later helps
