Which Link Do I Share?

Share the event page link — this is the link your guests use to view and upload photos. It looks like:

https://chivent.com/e/your-event-code

If you've set up a custom URL, it will use your custom slug instead (e.g., chivent.com/e/sarah-and-toms-wedding ).

Where to Find It

  • In your event dashboard, click the QR Code button — the link is displayed there alongside the QR code
  • Both the QR code and the link point to the same event page

They do the same thing. Use whichever fits the situation:

  • QR code — best for printed materials like table cards, signs, and posters
  • Link — best for sharing digitally via text, email, WhatsApp, or social media

You can use both at the same time.

The link in your browser's address bar while on the dashboard (e.g., chivent.com/dashboard/event/... ) is your private management view. Only share the event page link starting with /e/ .
